Growing Smiles Garden Co.
Where Soil, Science and Story Come Alive
Misson
Growing Smiles Garden Co. cultivates curiosity, confidence, and connection by bringing soil, science, and story to life. We empower children and communities to discover how living soil sustains healthy food, healthy people, and a healthy planet. Through hands-on gardening, inclusive learning, and therapeutic connection to nature, we grow more than gardens — we grow joy, understanding, and resilience from the ground up
Why We Bring Gardens Into Schools
Hunger affects more than health — it affects how children learn, focus, and thrive.
Across the country, millions of children face food insecurity — the uncertainty of not knowing where their next meal will come from. For students, this goes far beyond hunger. It affects attention, behavior, academic performance, and emotional well-being. When a child’s stomach is empty, curiosity fades and anxiety grows. Their bodies and brains can’t fully engage in learning.
At Growing Smiles Garden Co., we believe every child deserves nourishment — both in body and mind.
That’s why we bring our garden-based curriculum directly into schools: to teach children about healthy eating, soil health, and food self-reliance in ways that spark joy, pride, and ownership.
“From Hunger to Hope: Empowering Students Through Growing”
Let’s Grow Smiles Together
When children learn to grow food, they gain far more than a skill — they gain empowerment, connection, and hope.
Every school garden we help build is a small act of resilience: a living classroom where science, compassion, and nourishment take root side by side.

Our mission is to transform underused spaces into thriving food systems that teach sustainability while feeding the community.
Through hands-on soil education, composting, and harvest projects, students experience that food security isn’t just a concept — it’s something they can grow with their own hands.

Together, we can make every schoolyard a place where healthy soil grows healthy students — and healthy students grow strong communities.
